Old Man Young Man

I had a conversation with my father the other day, and he revealed to me that as a child he always felt old.  Not in the sense of fatigue, but maturity.  He also told me he couldn’t wait to turn 40, and even more excited for his 50′s.  Wow!  However, this wasn’t as much of a shock as I thought it would be, in fact it was an epiphany of sorts.  I’ve been feeling the same exact way for quite a while.  Maybe not since I was a kid, but definately as a teenager.  In a way, I can’t wait to turn 40 either, it seems I’m an old man at heart.  That would explain my sense of fashion!
